About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Hire Direct team for an experienced Team Leader, based at our Birmingham Trading Desk.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for motivating, developing and supporting the team to deliver exceptional service to both internal and external customers. You’ll play a key role in shaping behaviours and culture within the department, leading by example to ensure professionalism, collaboration and strong teamwork.

This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys coaching others, driving performance and creating a positive working environment.


What You’ll Need

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Proven experience leading, motivating and managing a large team, with strong influencing and stakeholder engagement skills
• Customer service experience at a supervisory level
• The ability to provide clear leadership, guidance and ongoing support to colleagues
• A self-motivated and conscientious approach to work
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• A proven track record of delivering customer service excellence to internal and external customers
• The ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
• Experience using Axapta, On-Guard and Microsoft Office programmes
• The ability to prioritise workload effectively under pressure and to strict deadlines
• The ability to support your business unit and team in delivering Speedy’s ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver
• Previous experience within the hire industry (preferred)
• Sales experience (desirable)
