We are looking for an experienced Programme Manager, who will enjoy the challenge of leading large-scale programmes of work rolling out new processes and technologies across the business.
The main responsibilities are:
- To manage the roadmap and deliver strategic projects and programmes for Speedy, in line with our corporate strategy. This will include managing the day-to-day activities of the programme delivery team
- Plan programmes and major projects from outset to closure, including developing the business case, benefits delivery schedules, plans and interdependencies
- Work with the operational and support teams to promote and ensure adherence to the PMO Governance processes and methodology
- To be visible as a senior member of the team, suggesting best practice and guiding junior team members
- Engage with Programme and Project Managers to promote consistency across the portfolio to enable standardised reporting
- Support Transformation Managers and Project Sponsors to remove blockers and manage risks, issues, and dependencies across the portfolio
- Define and track project milestones and ensure dependencies are understood and accepted by the relevant owners
- Work alongside our Change Managers to ensure business readiness and that change is embedded and sustainable.
What you’ll need:
- Prince 2, APM, MSP or other relevant Project Management qualifications required.
- Track record of delivering multiple projects and programmes within a technically complex and dynamic environment
- Experience of successfully engaging management and groups of technical and non-technical stakeholders
- A minimum of seven years' experience in project management
- Familiarity with O365 software and toolsets
- Experience in Smartsheet or Microsoft Project required
- Exceptional People Management Skills
