We are now looking for a New Accounts Vetting Administrator to join our Transactional Finance team. This is a key role that supports the Credit Analysis team and wider finance function by helping assess, monitor, and mitigate credit risk across the customer portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Head of Credit Risk in overseeing the credit risk portfolio and delivering ad hoc strategic tasks.
Assist with fraud prevention activities and ensure prompt response to emerging risks.
Process new credit applications in line with company policies and procedures.
Analyse financial data to evaluate customer creditworthiness.
Maintain and review customer credit limits within Delegation of Authority.
Manage team mailboxes and address general enquiries professionally and efficiently.
Update customer and supplier master data (e.g., name, address, bank details) in accordance with authorisation protocols.
Collaborate on portfolio-level initiatives to support sustainable growth and effective risk mitigation.
Contribute to business projects and support the wider Credit Control team.
Deliver exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a professional customer experience.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in a similar role within a credit risk or finance-focused environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook).
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication, organisational, and influencing skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team, often under pressure and tight deadlines.
Sound judgement in assessing risk and implementing effective solutions.
Commitment to high-quality data and compliance with policies and controls.
Confidence in building positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
