Workshop Foreman / Forewoman / Service Manager
Warrington - Monday to Friday - 08:00-17:00 - 42.5 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Workshop Foreman / Service Manager in Warrington depot and you will manage all aspects of the power generation department in a proactive and effective manner. Ensuring the highest standards are maintained, mechanically and through keeping everyone, including themselves, safe.
You'll be responsible for 5 depot engineers and 5 mobile engineers and have a Co ordinator to support.
What you’ll be doing:
- Oversee the service, refurbishment, repair and maintenance of hire and customer equipment to the required safety levels and within the agreed timescales
- Support Engineers and customers with any technical issues
- Liaise with storeman on a daily basis for parts requirements
- Organise and manage Depot and Mobile Generator and Compressor Engineers to ensure smooth and efficient running of all yard-based work
What you’ll need:
- Proven experience of managing a workshop team, ideally within the hire industry or similar
- Strong engineering background ideally with experience of working on generators or compressors
- Good level of computer literacy and able to use a wide range of software, including Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to effectively prioritise workload and work under pressure and to strict deadlines
- Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.
- Excellent understanding/experience of managing health and safety practices at work
- Full driving licence is preferred
- IOSH qualified
