What the role entails:

  • Managing the day to day business relationship with Babcock procurement 
  • Engaging with and support Babcock end users on site and at key locations 
  • Managing the local cost savings programme and generate agreed cost savings on an annual basis 
  • Assuming overall responsibility for operational delivery of the contractual KPIs/SLAs for Babcock 
  • Managing the EVOLVE programme at a local level 
  • Supporting local innovation days 
  • Meeting and exceeding the expectations of Babcock through the delivery of service and product excellence and adherence to contractual requirements and KPIs/SLAs.  To include: 
    • All contractual reporting is produced in a concise and timely manner in accordance with Babcock requirements  
    • Work in conjunction with relevant personnel dealing with the customer’s enquiries either at Speedy Direct, a Regional Hub or on Babcock’s premises to ensure that all interaction is dealt with in a professional and timely manner 
    • To ensure full adherence to loss and damage management 
    • Liaise with the Commercial Administration Team to ensure timely resolution of back office issues in particular invoice queries and loss and damage issues 
    • Assist with asset utilisation and movement, resource planning and order fulfilment to ensure service excellence 
  • Attending governance meetings with Babcock and provide all relevant and requested information in a timely manner
