Job Title: Project Manager – Hoisting (Lifting/Hoisting)

Location: Glasgow

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 17:00 (42 hours per week)

As our Hoisting Division continues to expand, we’re looking for an experienced Project Manager – Hoisting to lead end-to-end delivery of hoist installation projects while driving commercial success across new and existing client relationships.

About the Role:

As Project Manager – Hoisting, you'll play a key strategic and operational role within our hoisting division, with a focus on delivering exceptional project outcomes, account growth, and brand recognition across the UK. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing full lifecycle project delivery – from hoist installations and commissioning to customer handover.

  • Developing and implementing robust sales strategies to identify and grow revenue streams.

  • Building long-term, profitable relationships with key customers on a local, regional and national level.

  • Conducting competitor analysis to guide pricing, positioning, and business development strategies.

  • Leading by example on site – including physical involvement in hoist installations where required.

  • Acting as a brand ambassador for Speedy’s hoisting offering, ensuring exceptional service delivery.

What We’re Looking For:

✅ Proven experience in the hoisting/lifting equipment sector✅ Strong background in customer relationship management and project delivery✅ Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding revenue targets✅ In-depth knowledge of industry regulations (LOLER, PUWER, MHSWR, COSHH)✅ Ability to carry out site surveys and assist in hoist installations✅ Excellent communication, sales, and leadership skills✅ Technical qualifications relevant to passenger and goods hoists✅ Familiarity with GEDA Hoists is desirable✅ Ability to manage multiple customer sites and travel when needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and realise new revenue streams through strategic account management

  • Develop annual business plans aligned with hoisting division growth targets

  • Prepare tenders, sales proposals and performance forecasts

  • Lead project delivery and customer satisfaction from survey through to completion

  • Maintain CRM data to ensure all customer activity is recorded accurately

  • Promote cross-selling opportunities and contribute to product development feedback

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards

  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to support our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver
