Mobile Hoisting Engineer  

Location: Glasgow  

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 17:00  

Full-Time | Permanent | Flexible Working Available

We’re looking for a Mobile Hoisting Engineer to work across customer sites in Glasgow, supporting installation, servicing, and repairs of hoisting equipment. If you’re hands-on, technically skilled, and thrive in a customer-focused role, we want to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Installing, testing, and commissioning hoisting equipment

  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults

  • Performing routine maintenance and inspections

  • Responding to breakdowns and supporting emergency repairs

  • Ensuring all work meets LOLER/PUWER standards

What we’re looking for:

  • Full UK driving licence (essential)

  • Experience with mechanical/electrical fault-finding

  • Good understanding of safety regulations (LOLER, PUWER)

  • Comfortable working at height and performing manual tasks

  • Flexible to travel and stay away from home when needed
