We are seeking an experienced and proactive Product Portfolio Manager, Accountable for the strategic management and commercial performance of a defined product portfolio.

Driving utilisation, return on capital, and full lifecycle optimisation across products, ensuring alignment to business objectives, market demand, and sustainability goals. Leading cross-functional teams to deliver performance, embed transformational change, and build organisational capability.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own the assigned portfolio of products, aligning to wider business objectives, market opportunities, and customer requirements.
  • Drive portfolio performance, optimising utilisation (NBV and quantity), revenue, and return on capital.
  • Identify underperformance and implement corrective actions to improve commercial outcomes and asset efficiency, working closely with Commercial and Asset teams.
  • Providing insight led recommendations to senior stakeholders to influence strategic direction and investment decisions.
  • Own the CAPEX across the portfolio, balancing investment, utilisation, and return on investment. Ensure effective control and optimisation of Capex, driving value and minimising waste.
  • Managing forecasting and financial planning, ensuring alignment with budgetary targets and business priorities.
  • Owning the end-to-end product lifecycle from introduction through to divestment.
  • Leading the New Product Introduction, ensuring successful market entry, commercial viability, and operational readiness.
  • Define and implement product rationalisation and exit strategies, ensuring timely divestment of underperforming or obsolete assets.
  • Driving continuous portfolio optimisation based on performance data, market trends, and customer demand.
  • Leading and influencing cross functional teams across Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to deliver portfolio outcomes.
  • Act as the senior escalation and decision-making point for portfolio-related challenges.
  • Ensuring effective alignment across functions to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes for customers and the business
  •  Identifying and responding to market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to shape portfolio direction.
  • Ensuring product offering remains competitive, relevant, and commercially viable.
  •  Lead, and develop a high-performing team, driving accountability, engagement, and results.
  • Develop team capability aligned to business needs, including succession planning and talent development.
  • Provide clear direction, coaching, and performance management to ensure delivery against objectives.

 

What you’ll need:

  • Planning, Organising & Executing - Able to understand the priorities, plan and organise the work and manage own time to deliver within the expected timescales.
  • Risk Management - aware on the impact of risk to the business and applies the necessary controls.
  • Adaptability - Is responsive and open to changing circumstances.
  • Self-Motivation and Development - confident in own ability and is motivated to deliver, using opportunities to further develop
