Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30 (39 hours per week)

About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lifting Inspection Engineer to join the Lloyds British team in Wednesbury. This is a full-time role offering excellent training, career progression, and the chance to work with a market-leading company in lifting and equipment inspection services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out lifting inspections in line with LOLER & PUWER regulations

  • Performing load testing, pull testing, and occasional destructive testing

  • Manning the rigging loft and inspecting lifting accessories

  • Supporting statutory compliance through thorough examinations

  • Maintaining the highest safety and quality standards

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience within the lifting equipment industry (desirable)

  • LEEA qualification (advantageous; training available)

  • Entry-level Engineering/Mechanics NVQ or City & Guilds (preferred but not essential)

  • Experience working in a testing environment

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Practical approach with excellent communication skills

  • Ability to support our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver

  • Full UK driving licence (maximum of 6 penalty points)
    (Full training will be provided – previous engineering experience is advantageous)
