The Role
We are seeking an experienced Crane Engineer to join our team. If you are a qualified Electrician with industrial maintenance experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

In this role, you will:

  • Carry out routine service inspections on overhead cranes and hoists

  • Apply knowledge of LOLER and PUWER regulations to ensure compliance

  • Consult with customers, providing advice and recommendations to prevent breakdowns

  • Perform fault finding, breakdown response, retrofits, modernisations, and upgrades on cranes and hoists

  • Ensure safety is always the number one priority

Requirements

  • NVQ3, HNC, HND, or City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)

  • Relevant experience with cranes and hoists

  • Proven technical knowledge of lifting equipment and lifting machinery

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to build lasting client relationships
