The Opportunity – Engineering Support Manager DN11 8QA 37.5 hours

As an Engineering Support Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the customer remains at the heart of our operations. You will support the day-to-day running of the branch, supervising and coordinating activities, while deputising for the Branch Manager in their absence.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to step into a leadership position while remaining hands-on with engineering and operational responsibilities.

What You’ll Need

  • Proven experience within the lifting equipment industry
  • Experience working in a testing and inspection environment
  • Strong mechanical engineering background or experience handling heavy lifting equipment
  • Competence in inspecting lifting equipment in accordance with LOLER and PUWER regulations
  • LEEA qualifications (desirable)
  • Experience working on customer sites with a strong customer-focused approach
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and perform effectively under pressure to meet strict deadlines
  • A proactive approach with the ability to take ownership and responsibility
  • Adaptability within a fast-paced and evolving operational environment
