Contract: Part Time
Hours: 22.5 Hours Per week - Monday to Friday

About the role

We’re looking for a passionate and innovative Development Specialist – Digital Systems to join our People team and play a key role in supporting the continuous growth and development of colleagues across Speedy.

With a particular focus on core business systems, you’ll help colleagues build the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to get the most from the systems that support our business.

You’ll work closely with People Business Partners, subject matter experts and stakeholders across Speedy to identify development needs and create engaging, practical learning solutions that meet both colleague and business requirements.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about learning and development, enjoys working with technology and systems, and wants to make a real difference to how colleagues learn and grow.

What you’ll be doing

  • Identify learning and development needs across core business systems and translate these into effective learning solutions.
  • Design and deliver engaging training across virtual, in-person and blended formats.
  • Develop high-quality training materials, resources and digital learning content.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for digital systems learning, providing guidance and support to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with People Business Partners and business stakeholders to ensure learning solutions support organisational priorities.
  • Support talent and succession planning, contributing to the development of colleagues and future talent across Speedy.
  • Coordinate learning programmes, ensuring they are delivered effectively, efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Evaluate the impact and effectiveness of learning interventions, using feedback and insight to continually improve our approach.
  • Champion innovation, new learning technologies and best practice across learning and development.
  • Ensure learning solutions remain engaging, relevant, cost-effective and aligned with Speedy’s strategic priorities.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business and become a trusted partner in supporting colleague development.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic about learning, development and digital systems, with the ability to turn complex information into engaging and accessible learning experiences.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Experience working in a Learning & Development, training, digital learning or systems training environment.
  • Experience designing and delivering training across virtual, face-to-face and blended environments.
  • A strong understanding of how people learn and the ability to adapt your approach to different audiences.
  • Experience creating engaging training content and learning materials.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
  • The ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and programmes.
  • A proactive and creative approach to solving learning and development challenges.
  • An interest in digital technology, business systems and emerging learning approaches.
  • A genuine passion for helping people learn, develop and reach their potential.
