Job Introduction

Exciting new role for a CapEx Coordinator to join our CapEx team in Haydock.

The main purpose of this role will be efficiently managing all aspects of capital expenditure for the Speedy business, reporting into Supply Chain and interacts with the wider business and depot network.

Key responsibilities:

  • Approving all CapEx requests in line with the company delegation of authority.
  • Liase with Supply Chain Managers/Data Team to ensure trade agreements are updated and accurate.
  • Contribute to ongoing development of internal processes and procedures.
  • Provide support in rolling and new processes and procedures.
  • Provide support to the Finance Team in processing transactions.
  • Liase with the depot network to ensure the integrity and accuracy of asset information.
  • Participate in company projects.
  • Ensuring all documents and records are available and easily retrievable within the shared folder.
  • Generate monthly reports of outstanding CapEx orders and monitor for delivery schedules.
  • Provide support to the depot network with any problems or issues.
  • Provide support to Category Managers when raising strategic orders.
  • Contribute to ongoing development of internal processes and procedures.
  • Liase with the depot network to ensure the integrity and accuracy of asset information.
  • Lead like you mean it, always working as part of a complete team, win hearts and minds and drive cultural change through teamwork within your area and the wider business.
  • Flexible and capable to quickly adapt to a change and positively support the roll out of Velocity for colleagues and external customers.
  • To present and encourage a safe, positive, and professional work environment for the team and the wider business.

  • Ensure the GDPR policy is always followed.
  • Conducting additional ad hoc duties may be required.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures.

Knowledge/ Skills required:

  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical skills with knowledge of creating reports.
  • GDPR Knowledge

Desirable

  • Experience in fixed asset background.
  • Some knowledge of Speedy products.
  • Experience within the hire industry.
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and general IT skills.

  • Good attention to detail an the ability to deliver accurate and high quality work.
