Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile Adoption: Guide teams on the use of Agile frameworks and the transition from traditional project delivery methodologies.
- Coaching and Mentoring: Provide coaching to teams in all aspects of agile, including cross-functional teamwork, continuous delivery, and self-organization. Also, mentor product owners, scrum masters, and other organizational leaders on agile principles and practices.
- Agile Leadership: Encourage a learning culture within the organization and promote the benefits of agile ways of working across all levels of the organization.
- Process Improvement: Assess the Scrum maturity of the teams and organization and coach them to higher levels of maturity at a sustainable pace.
- Scaling: Work with stakeholders to scale out our agile product delivery using successful frameworks enabling effective product roadmap and dependency management.
- Performance Measurement: Implement metrics to demonstrate the value of agile transformation and continuous improvement in IT delivery.
- Training and Workshops: Develop and deliver agile training sessions and workshops tailored to different teams and departments.
Role requirements:
- Strong Understanding of Agile and Lean Principles: Knowledge of various agile frameworks and methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS).
- Effective Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to teach and mentor.
- Leadership and Influence: Ability to lead by example and encourage teams to embrace agile practices.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Adaptability: Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid changes common in agile transformations.
- Tooling: Familiarity with Agile development tools and software, in particular Azure DevOps.
- Experience: Three or more years of experience as agile coach
