About the Role:
As a QA Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the high-quality delivery of software solutions across the business. You’ll work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders from the early stages of each project to ensure robust quality standards are maintained throughout the development lifecycle.
This position involves both manual and automated testing, with approximately 40% of your time focused on writing and maintaining automated test suites.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with developers and business analysts to validate software against business requirements
Test that software features meet defined acceptance criteria
Write and maintain automated tests (using Selenium or similar tools)
Develop and maintain regression test libraries
Perform API testing and support end-to-end quality assurance
Provide estimates during sprint planning as part of an agile team
Continuously improve testing processes and contribute to QA best practices
Support user experience validation to ensure systems are intuitive and user-friendly
Key Skills and Experience Required:
Proven experience in manual software testing
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium
Understanding of agile development methodologies
API testing experience
Strong analytical and communication skills
ISEB / ISTQB certification (foundation level or higher)
Desirable Experience:
Microsoft certification
Experience testing ERP systems
Mobile application testing experience
Familiarity with VSTS / TFS (Azure DevOps)
Knowledge of ESG principles and ability to support Speedy’s ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver
