As a Welding and Engineering Mobilization Manager your role will be to manage and support the mobilisation of welding technology solutions throughout the Speedy business including regional locations and customer specific projects, this is a specialist welding and engineering role involving the servicing and commissioning of welding and engineering equipment, as well as training and development of other colleagues in the regions and across the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Being up to date on your knowledge and understanding of all relevant compliance and regulatory rules and procedures that relate to welding & engineering equipment.
- Undertaking maintenance, calibration and general servicing of Speedy welding & engineering fleet.
- Being able to travel effectively if required and to manage own time as required
- Produce electronic examination reports in a professional manner with high quality standards.
- Arranging service visits directly with clients and their staff if required to do so.
- Demonstrating the right behaviours and ability to adapt and encourage others to face new challenges and embrace the changes required to meet the strategic objectives of Speedy
Person Specification
- Competent communicator, both written and oral, familiar and confident user of common IT business applications including but not limited to email, office suite, internet and business applications across multiple devices
- A team player mentality with the ability to act selflessly and encourage others to act towards a collective goal
- Dynamic - able to influence outcomes, add value in a fast-changing environment and maintain high levels of self-motivation and work alone effectively
- Ability to Deliver the sustainability strategy – “Decade to Deliver” this is to support the individual objective that all staff will have in their PDRs from next year, this will be aligned to individual roles
