About the Role:
We are looking for a talented and experienced SEO Manager to join our Digital Marketing team based in Haydock. This hybrid role offers flexible working and a 9-day fortnight, giving you a genuine opportunity to balance professional ambition with personal wellbeing.
As SEO Manager, you’ll lead the execution of SEO strategies across Speedy’s digital platforms, driving organic traffic growth and enhancing online visibility. You’ll manage technical SEO, develop site content, work with cross-functional teams, and report on performance. This is a high-impact role with the potential to shape how SEO supports Speedy's business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective SEO strategies and KPIs across all Speedy-owned websites.
Manage the SEO content roadmap and optimise content using our CMS.
Identify and resolve technical SEO issues to improve site performance.
Conduct keyword research to inform content strategy and campaign targeting.
Lead off-site SEO projects such as link-building.
Work collaboratively with social media and PPC teams on integrated campaigns.
Deliver regular reporting on SEO performance, including traffic and ranking trends.
Stay informed about the latest developments in SEO and digital marketing.
Manage and develop one content writer, with scope to grow the team.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience as an SEO Manager, SEM Manager or similar.
Strong knowledge of SEO best practices, algorithms, and industry tools (e.g. SEMrush, Screaming Frog, MOZ).
Familiarity with Google Analytics, GTM, Google Data Studio, and PIM platforms (e.g. Agility).
Working knowledge of HTML/CSS.
Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
Analytical mindset with a focus on performance and results.
BSc/BA in Marketing, Business or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of SEO experience.
