Multi-disciplined Engineer - Midlands - Monday to Friday - 08:00-16:30 - 39 hours per week

As a Multi-disciplined Engineer Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting detailed inspections, assessments, and surveys of engineering equipment, machinery, and structures. You will be working on various projects, from routine inspections to more complex surveys, ensuring compliance with regulations, safety standards, and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys and inspections of mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering systems and structures.
- Perform risk assessments, identifying areas of concern and providing solutions to mitigate risks.
- Compile technical reports, documenting findings, recommendations, and compliance with relevant standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
- Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Perform testing and calibration of equipment and machinery as required.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation for auditing and compliance purposes.
- Provide technical advice and guidance to clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in the preparation of cost estimates, project timelines, and other planning activities.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, new technologies, and relevant codes of practice.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in an engineering surveyor role, with knowledge across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using surveying tools, inspection equipment, and engineering software.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of engineering regulations, codes of practice, and safety standards.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for report writing and client interaction.
- Driving License: Full, clean driving license may be required for travel between sites.
