About the Role
As a Mechanical Engineer based in our Newport depot, you’ll play a vital part in keeping our operations running smoothly. You’ll carry out mechanical repairs, assembly and servicing across a wide range of industrial products — from power tools to lifting equipment — ensuring everything is safe, reliable and ready for customers when they need it most.
You’ll prioritise repairs effectively, work closely with your colleagues, and take satisfaction in maintaining high-quality standards every day.
What You’ll Need
To succeed in this role, we’re looking for someone with:
Previous mechanical engineering experience (hire industry experience a bonus)
Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Strong verbal and written communication skills
The ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
A positive attitude and willingness to support our ESG strategy – Decade to Deliver
