Major Project Manager – North West
Hours: Monday to Friday – 42 hours per week

We’re looking for a Major Project Manager based in the North West to lead strategic project delivery across major construction schemes, drive key client relationships, and create impactful onsite opportunities that grow Speedy’s market presence across the region.
The Role:
As a Major Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of engagement plans for high-value construction projects across the North West. You'll manage a portfolio of live developments, working closely with principal contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to build strong, sustainable partnerships and deliver tailored solutions through Speedy’s asset services.
Your work will directly support Speedy’s strategic growth by identifying and securing new opportunities, enhancing service delivery, and driving long-term value across some of the region’s most important infrastructure and development projects.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of major construction projects within the North West.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders across live sites.
Understand specific project requirements and deliver bespoke Speedy Asset Services solutions.
Work collaboratively with internal teams – including Operational, National, and Regional – to ensure best-in-class service.
Track and report on key performance indicators, ensuring revenue and profit targets are met.
Identify and convert new onsite opportunities with principal contractors, subcontractors, and site leads.
Support proposal writing, tenders, and strategic presentations for major projects.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience managing complex construction projects and developing large, multi-stakeholder relationships.
Strong commercial awareness and proven track record of meeting revenue-driven targets.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to develop and maintain senior-level client relationships within the construction sector.
Effective time and diary management with a proactive, organised approach.
