Location: Gloucester (GL2 5EA)
Working Pattern: 9-day fortnight (every other Friday off)
Working Hours: 07:00 – 17:00
Contracted Hours: 42 hours per week
Day Off: Friday (as part of 9-day fortnight)
Lifting Engineer
As a depot-based Lifting Engineer in our busy workshop, you will have overall responsibility for the testing, maintenance and repair of our lifting hire equipment.
You will play a key role in the customer journey ensuring that they are at the heart of everything we do. You may also be required to attend customer sites to undertake breakdowns and servicing for equipment on long-term customer contracts. We have strong teams and great working relationships and we want you to be part of this fantastic story.
What You’ll Need
- Proven mechanical engineering experience (essential), ideally within the hire industry or similar engineering environment
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
- Commitment to supporting ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver
