Location – Croydon
Monday to Friday | 07:30 – 17:00 | 42 hours per week

Hire Controller

Based within the depot, the Hire Controller plays a key role at the heart of our operation, supporting both sales and customer service. This is a busy and rewarding position where building strong relationships with customers and colleagues is essential.

You’ll coordinate the full hire process from enquiry through to delivery and collection, working closely with different teams across the depot to make sure customers receive the right equipment, on time, with a high level of service throughout.

Day to day, you’ll work closely with stock teams, drivers and engineers, helping to keep operations running smoothly and ensuring customers are kept updated every step of the way.

What you’ll need:

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy workload
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A positive and adaptable approach
  • Willingness to learn and develop
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Previous experience within the hire industry or a similar sales/operational environment would be beneficial
  • Ability to support your business unit/team in delivering our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver
