The Opportunity
We are currently looking for an experienced Surveyor Engineer specialising in Pressure and LEV Inspection to join our team in the West Midlands / Wolverhampton area.
This is a field-based engineering role focused on delivering high-quality inspections, fault finding, and maintenance activities on pressure systems and associated equipment, ensuring compliance with current regulatory and statutory requirements.
You will play a key role in helping our customers maintain safe, compliant, and operational equipment while delivering an exceptional standard of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out inspections of pressure equipment and LEV systems in line with regulatory and statutory requirements
- Conduct fault finding, identify defects, and carry out repairs where required
- Ensure all inspections and maintenance activities are completed to a high technical standard
- Compile and complete detailed inspection reports and documentation
- Operate within agreed inspection authorities and Health & Safety standards
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships
- Support compliance with current legislation and industry standards
- Promote safe working practices at all times
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- ASME Level 1 and PSSR qualification / P601
- Excellent mechanical and technical knowledge
- Experience working with pressure vessel systems
- Ability to compile detailed technical reports
- Strong understanding of pressure equipment and inspection processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused approach with the ability to build lasting relationships
- Full UK driving licence
Role Specific Qualifications / Experience:
- LOLER inspections
- PUWER regulations knowledge and inspections
- PSSR inspections
- LEV inspections
