We’re looking for a Lifting Inspection Engineer to join our team in Erith. This is a great opportunity to build your technical expertise, work with a wide range of lifting equipment and develop your career with a recognised market leader.

You’ll be responsible for inspecting, testing and certifying lifting equipment, helping our customers keep their equipment safe, compliant and ready for use.

Your work will include:

• Inspection and certification of lifting equipment and accessories
• Load testing and pull testing
• Occasional destructive testing
• Supporting the management of the rigging loft
• Identifying faults and providing practical solutions
• Completing accurate inspection and testing documentation
• Delivering a professional, responsive service to customers
• Working safely and in line with relevant standards and legislation

No two days are exactly the same, and you’ll have the opportunity to continually expand your technical knowledge and experience.

We’d love to hear from you if you have experience within engineering, lifting equipment, inspection or testing.

Ideally, you’ll have:

• Experience working within the lifting equipment industry
• LEEA qualifications or experience – advantageous but not essential
• An engineering or mechanical NVQ/City & Guilds qualification – desirable
• Experience working within a testing or engineering environment
• A practical approach and strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• A full UK driving licence
