Based in Haydock | Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:00 Hybrid Working

We’re looking for a detail-focused and organised Commercial Administrator to join our Commercial team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, supporting commercial activity, and building strong relationships across the business.


About the Role

In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing customer agreements from start to finish — ensuring they are accurate, up to date, and aligned with our commercial policies.

You’ll play a key part in supporting the wider business by providing commercial and administrative support, helping to drive consistency, reduce queries, and improve overall performance.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing customer agreements through their full lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and compliance

  • Monitoring agreement expiry dates and supporting timely renewals

  • Providing commercial and administrative support across your sectors/regions

  • Working closely with teams across the business to ensure smooth communication

  • Reducing queries by ensuring contract changes are clearly communicated

  • Supporting continuous improvement and best practice across commercial processes

  • Contributing to margin improvement through accurate and effective administration


What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and confident working with data and stakeholders.

You’ll bring:

  • Experience analysing data using tools such as Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)

  • A good understanding of basic Excel formulas

  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with different teams

  • Excellent planning and organisational skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • A results-driven mindset with good business awareness

  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities

It would be great if you also have:

  • Knowledge of Speedy Hire products/services

  • Experience supporting a sales or commercial function

  • A full UK driving licence


Working with Others

You’ll build strong relationships across the business, particularly with:

  • Sales and Operations teams

  • Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, Legal and Asset Management
