An excellent opportunity has arisen in Lloyds British for an Area Manager (Warrington)  to join our team on behalf of one of the world’s largest publicly traded international Oil & Gas companies. As an Area Manager you will ensure that the customer is at the heart of everything we do, you will supervise and coordinate operations within the branch.

The main purpose of this role will be to identify, manage and grow revenue opportunities and profitability from new and existing clients in their defined geographical area of responsibility through the implementation of the Lloyds British targeted sales strategies which improve profitability by establishing and developing mutually rewarding relationships with customers, suppliers and partners both directly and via brokers or other intermediaries.

Where applicable manage any Lloyds British branch/depot/facilities located within their area of responsibility and any staff which operate from it

What you’ll need:

  • Good communication skills and experience of working within a customer site
  • Experience working in the lifting equipment industry
  • Experience of using heavy lifting gear or with a strong mechanical engineering background
  • Competent in the inspection of lifting equipment in accordance with LOLER and PUWER.
  • LEEA Qualification/s desirable
  • Proven track record of building and developing relationships which lead to the acquisition and retention of profitable national and regional contracts and major customer accounts
  • Ideally 2-5 years’ experience within the TIC, crane, plant and machinery or health and safety services sectors and an understanding of large scale and complex projects requiring those services
  • Demonstrable knowledge of effectively leading or positively influencing successful teams, collaborating with other departments and divisions and the commercial acumen to meet financial and performance targets within a wider organisational structure
  • Awareness of and familiarity with the best information sources to remain fully appraised of the latest developments and thinking within relevant industry sectors
